Shift Change Project

On October 10, 2024, the nationwide action day “Shift Change�took place for the sixth time. On this day, employees from workshops for people with disabilities and staff from partner companies swap workplaces.

We have enjoyed a long-standing and successful partnership with Dorfgemeinschaft Graupa gGmbH, and our interest in participating in this initiative was sparked immediately.

We were pleased to welcome Mr. Renè Stolz to our company. Together with his exchange partner, our employee Mr. Schlegel, Mr. Stolz spent an exciting day filled with motivation, curiosity, and many new impressions.

The “Shift Change�project gave both sides the opportunity to explore new perspectives and engage in personal exchange.

We view this initiative very positively, as it helps to break down societal prejudices against workshops for people with disabilities.

 On September 7, 2024, Hutzel-Seidewitztal GmbH once again successfully participated in the region’s largest career orientation fair.

New Index Machine

 With the addition of another 8-spindle automatic lathe, Hutzel-Seidewitztal GmbH has significantly increased its productivity and is now among the largest metalworking companies in eastern Germany.

The machine is primarily used to process hard-to-machine steels with the smallest tolerances, ensuring zero-defect production through fully automated 100% inspections.
 Despite the economic downturn and challenging conditions, we remain confident that our substantial investments in high-tech German machinery will continue to pay off and help secure the 100 jobs at our Liebstadt facility over the long term.

On Saturday, September 9, 2023, the 22nd “Training Day�took place at the Vocational School Center for Technology and Business in Pirna �featuring a record number of exhibitors with around 160 participating companies.

Hutzel-Seidewitztal GmbH was once again successfully represented and showcased its training opportunities for future cutting machine operators (m/f/d).
